Spinning Wheels App - Period Tracker App
This is the period tracker app that I have been using since my cycle returned 10 weeks after the birth of my daughter! It was created by Jane Hardwicke Collings who is a mentor of mine that I adore (you need to check out her work!) This app is so epic! It supports me to understand exactly where I am in my cycle, plus understand how my cycle relates to the moon cycle … magic stuff happens when we explore this as a menstruation woman!

Maximise Your Pleasure By Connecting Your Mind & Body
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to become disconnected from our own bodies, which can hinder our ability to be in the present moment and fully receptive to life's pleasures, including those intimate moments. RECIPE TIME!!
One-Pan Chicken with Marjoram, Smoked Paprika, Potatoes and Tahini Yoghurt
This is one of my favourite quick and easy dinners that the whole family love. I made it last night and it was so delish!
Serves 6
Ingredients
700g Dutch cream (or other waxy potatoes, peeled)
1 medium-sized brown onion, sliced into 8-10 wedges
8 skin-on chicken thigh cutlets
3 bay leaves
2 packed tablespoons finely chopped fresh marjoram (or oregano) - I also use Thyme instead
6 fat cloves garlic, unpeeled
2 finely chopped chillies, optional
1/3 cup (80ml) extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup (60ml) lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons sea salt flakes
freshly ground black pepper
bay leaves (or marjoram or oregano leaves), to garnish
TAHINI YOGHURT
1 cup (280g) thick Greek-style yoghurt
1 dessertspoon tahini
1 small clove garlic, finely chopped, or more to taste
3/4 teaspoon sea salt flakes, or more to taste
50 ml extra virgin olive oil, plus a little extra, to garnish
freshly ground black pepper
1 bay leaf, to garnish, optional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 230° (210°C fan forced). Line a large, shallow-rimmed baking tray with baking paper. The size of the baking tray is important, as you want the mixture to fit comfortably. If the tray is too small, the chicken and potato won't brown as they should and will stew rather than roast. If you're at all concerned, err on the side of caution and divide the mixture evenly between 2 baking trays.
Cut the potatoes into fat wedges (you'll get 6 wedges out of a medium-size potato). Tumble them into a large bowl, add the onion wedges, chicken, bay leaves and marjoram or oregano. Prick each clove of garlic with a fine skewer and add them to the bowl (doing this will stock them exploding in the oven). Scrape in the chopped chilli, if using. Trickle over the olive oil and add the lemon juice, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper to taste. Use clean hands (or don a pair of prep gloves) to thoroughly mix everything together. Spread the mixture in a single layer in the baking tray or trays, sitting the chicken skin-side up and making sure it's not crowded.
Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 180°C and roast for another 30-35 minutes or until chick skin is bronzed and potato is golden with crisp edges.
While the chicken is cooking, make the Tahini Yoghurt. Put the yoghurt, tahini, garlic and salt into a bowl and mix together. Drizzle in the olive oil, whisking all the while, until the mixture is homogenised. Taste and add more salt if needed. Scrape into a serving bowl, cover lightly and set aside in a cool spot until ready to use. Garnish with a soupçon of oil, pepper and a bay leaf (if using) just before serving.
Remove the baking tray from the oven and transfer everything, including any pan juices, to a large serving platter. Garnish with a bay leaves and serve with the Tahini Yoghurt.
Yummy Choc Brownie
A couple of weeks back my friend Maia baked these brownies for me. She knew about my reset so made them super healthy and we ate them with coconut yoghurt … soooooooo yum!
Ingredients
1 cup fine almond flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp dutch cocoa or additional regular
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup melted coconut oil or butter
3 tbsp water or additional oil
2 eggs, or 2 flax eggs
1 cup mashed sweet potato
1/2 - 2/3 cup maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease an 8-inch pan, or line with parchment.
Mix all ingredients well.
Spread evenly into the pan. Smooth down, using a second sheet of parchment if needed.
Bake 20 minutes in the centre rack, then let cool completely and they will continue to firm up. They also firm up even more if you refrigerate very loosely covered overnight.
The brownies are also delicious with or without frosting.
If you try this yummy brownie recipe, don’t forget to leave a comment below!

Day 18 of the 30 Day Libido & Vitality Reset! 🌹
I am a bit knackered this week. I've been sticking to my routines and exercise though but struggling to make space for daily stretching and cooking and that's kind of upset my microbiome and energy somewhat. My week kinda got de-railed by a relatively sleepless night on Sunday. The silver lining though, is that the sleepless night was a result of spending the first night with someone new...my first sex with another human (as opposed to just myself) in about 18 months (I have been consciously cultivating my primary relationship with self during that time) ...and it was...WOW, totally magic. But the energy ignited in me...haha. I guess there are worse reasons to lose sleep but yeah I've gotta harness this sexual energy somehow cause it's INSANE and totally messing up my sleep still whether there's a beautiful man in my bed or...just my head! I want to enjoy this time as opposed to suffer for it! I'm pretty confident that my commitment to my routines is the ticket to that though, so I'll keep plodding along and doing my best <3
I am doing pretty good. Definitely entering luteal this week so I am also gonna slow down a bit.
On the reset side... Some things are going really good others not as consistent as initally planned. But I am OK with that. I didn't do my yoga all nights and that is honestly just because i couldnt be that disciplined there... but I managed to go for a run twice a week and I found a new bike so more movement when running errands and going to work too. I did a sourdough workshop this week that got me super motivated in baking my own bread again and I love it. Also the practice with the pleasure wand isn't been really two times a week, BUT I gave myself an amazing breast massage this weekend!! It was truly something else! I think I felt for the first time in ages again as if I was really making live with myself (I'm single). (Wait why am I actually explaining this?😅 as if making love with oneself could only apply when single🤔).
I really enjoyed the episode around the menstrual cycle awareness. I had listened to it already a few years ago, but it's a goldie to return to and I always get something from it. All in all I'm loving this!
