Thanks for joining me! I’m looking forward to connecting with you all and hearing about your wins over the next month as we journey toward greater health and vitality (and a rocking sex life, of course). Let’s do this!
So today is the 1st of September, the first day of Spring here in Australia. I absolutely LOVE Spring … the sun begins to feel hotter and the trees begin to bloom again. It’s my favourite time of the year to reset my body and feel great after a few months in Winter hibernating.
As most of you know, I’m 3 months postpartum too. So personally I’m looking forward to increasing my energy to match my three energetic children! A newborn, a 2-year old and a teenager require me to be on TOP OF MY GAME. Plus to be completely honest, I’m ready to shed some of my baby weight and feel fantastic in time for Summer at the beach 💦
So my personal intentions for the reset are:
Increase my libido. It’s taken a bit of a dip the last couple of weeks, which is completely normal PP, but I’m also really keen to continue a thriving sex life with Nick!
Lose some of the weight I gained while preggers. I LOVE my curves, however I’m about 10kg over the weight I feel most comfortable in and I’m not going to pretend I don’t want to eventually lose it. FYI, I NEVER weigh myself. Ever. I go by how I FEEL. Weighing myself fucks with my head, plus who cares about numbers if we feel great, right? So weight loss for me is more about how I feel in my clothes, and how great I feel about my curves when naked.
Feel fitter, stronger and amazing in my favourite jeans!

THE NITTY GRITTY
Next I want to share the basics of what practical step I’m going to take to reach my goals in the next 30 days. As I’ve mentioned before, this Reset is about me sharing my own journey, and then inviting you to come along and join me. This doesn’t mean you have to do what I do, or take the supplements I take … it’s simply an opportunity to join a community of others who want to feel fabulous! And it’s up to you to tailor the reset for your own individual needs.Â
Here’s what I’m committing to for the next 30 days:
MORNING ROUTINE
Having a morning ritual/routine is ESSENTIAL. In my opinion it sets us up for a great day and keeps us on track from the moment we wake up. It’s up to you to create a routine that suits you, but I’ll share mine below for inspiration.
Every day, without fail (reset or not) the first thing I do when I wake (besides cuddling my man and my kids) is tongue scrape, oil pull with coconut oil, and brush my teeth. This has been my morning ritual for years and years. My Dad taught me how important it is to clean our teeth before eating brekky - cleans away all the toxins that have surfaced in your mouth while sleeping ;)
I’ll continue to do this ritual every morning in September. I’ll also be adding in skin brushing. This is something I dip in and out of, but god damn it feels good and also has some great health benefits.
Here’s a little bit about WHY I am choosing to have these in my morning ritual.
Tongue Scraping - This is a simple but effective way to boost oral hygiene by gently removing bacteria, food particles, and dead cells from your tongue's surface. It helps fight bad breath, prevent bacteria buildup, and even improves your sense of taste. This practice supports digestion and overall well-being by reducing oral bacteria. I use the Superfeast tongue scraper, you can purchase it HERE to make it part of your own routine.
Oil Pulling - Another beneficial practice to add to your regular dental care for optimal oral health - it involves swishing oil ( organic coconut oil) in your mouth for around 5 - 20 minutes. This ancient technique helps remove harmful bacteria, promoting oral hygiene and reducing bad breath. It can also contribute to healthier gums and teeth. It’s believed to make teether white too ;) I use organic coconut oil, you can purchase this in your supermarket or health food store.
Brushing Teeth - While pretty self-explanatory and likely already a part of your regular routine, if you occasionally find yourself slipping with this habit, I highly recommend using this 30-day reset to establish a strong practice for the long term! I personally love my electric toothbrush! And use a water flosser, which is way easier than traditional flossing.
Skin Brushing - Involves gently brushing your skin with a natural bristle brush, typically moving towards the heart. This exfoliates and stimulates the skin while promoting lymphatic circulation, which can support the body's natural detoxification process. It can lead to smoother skin, reduced ingrown hairs, a revitalised appearance, improved circulation, and potential lymphatic benefits. Use light pressure to prevent irritation and include it in your skincare ritual for healthier skin. You can buy these brushes at health food stores.
MOVEMENT
In the morning throughout September I’m committing to bouncing on my rebounder (aka a mini trampoline) for 10 mins upon waking. I’ll do this 5 x week and if time permits, increase it to 20 mins.
I’ve taken up rebounding since the birth of our daughter in June, however I don’t recommend this if you have any pelvic floor challenges. Luckily I have a strong pelvic floor (thinking it’s ‘cos I’ve had millions of orgasms?!), so rebounding feels super easy and relaxing for me to commit to. Not to mention great for my body! And 10 mins each morning is achievable as a busy Mumma of 3.
A bit about Rebounding – it’s a low-impact workout that improves cardiovascular health, strengthens muscles, and enhances lymphatic circulation, aiding in detoxification. Rebounding also promotes bone density, boosts metabolism, and can be a fun way to stay active. Just a few minutes a day can make a positive impact on your fitness and well-being!
Another movement I love is walking. I often take the kids for a walk around the country roads where we live. I find it relaxing and know that I also work up a sweat and it’s gentle on my body.

NUTRITION
Next on my list is nutrition. We literally are what we eat, and our cells need epic nutrition to feel great! So does our libido! If you eat shitty processed food, expect to eventually feel shitty. Seriously.
This month I’m excluding sugar and wheat from my diet. Sugar is my weakness, I loveeeee a cookie, or a choccie. So I’m cutting it out ‘cos it ain’t good for me! And wheat bloats me and is crap … it’s dead food. And I want to feel ALIVE. So I’m cutting it out.
When I get my sugar cravings I’ll be replacing my sugar hit with berries and organic yogurt, or a cacao elixir. If I find any other great recipes, I’ll share them throughout the month. Feel free to add yours in the comments ;)
Wheat is easy to cut out. I replace my toast with this bread that I make, it’s delicious! The kids love it too ;)

SUPPLEMENTS
I’m a big fan of adding in a few extra supps each day to boost my life force energy and libido! And I have some pearlers up my sleeve that I want to share with you.
Before I do though, remember these are supps that have helped ME. And that you may need to consult with your own health practitioner about what best suits YOU. Remember it’s not ‘one size fits all’, and if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, do your own research. I personally have a naturopath who is awesome who is currently supporting me to take supplements that not only help me, but also transfer through my milk to my baby girl so that she has the best start to life.

Day 1 of the 30 Day Libido & Vitality Reset!
Hi Juliet, first of all thank you for this inspiring idea and for sharing all of your intentions and lots of interesting infos to look into!
For me it's autumn coming, and I just moved (last week) into a new flat, by myself and not a sublet - for the 1st time! so I'm very excited about really making this space feel like Home 💛 Not sure what this will imply in details through the month - I still feel a bit overwhelmed with the different luggages and boxes to unpack 🤪 - but I'll be trying to take my time to properly organise everything here and invest only in furniture that brings me joy.
I also wanna go back to a consistent meditation+yoga/pilates routine, since the last month I was mainly camping and traveling and wasn't consistent at all, even tho I was very active, but I miss stretching and some more mindful movement.
Thank you for all the advices, I will definitely also look more into essential oils and review which supplements I'm taking, if they're still needed or how I can naturally improve my energy levels.
Last points, back to fully cultivating some human connections after a couple stressful, busy and messy months & more journaling and reading and less screen time esp. at night ! xx

My intentions :
Losing some postpartum weight . With you on this sister! Loving my curves and this body but would love feeling lighter and more energetic again
Eat more nutrient dense foods , cut the processed crap
Reduce stress and anxiety
Get off socials
So I’m going to
Keep up my daily bush walks but also add in some Pilates and love the little bouncer idea !
Meal prep and plan like a boss . Delegate two days a week to bulk cooking for freezer meals and healthy grab and go snacks . Stop buying processed foods so it’s not in the house
Start a morning mindfulness practice during bubs first nap , regenerative yoga for afternoon wind down
Read a book instead of jumping on my phone during naps! And adhere to the time limit I set on my phone
